Embark Internship Program
Our internship program is intentionally designed to introduce you to the benefits of working in AEC consulting and to give you the opportunity to explore different markets and services. During your internship, you will be immersed in project work and our company culture. You will also network with other young professionals at the company.
During your internship at Mead & Hunt, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Work on challenging client projects alongside a mentor
Hone your skills and use cutting-edge technologies
Learn about the business of consulting through learning sessions
Participate in panel discussions with young professionals
Have fun at company celebrations and teambuilding events
Share your experience through intern hangouts and showcases
While internships are available year-round, most of our interns start in late spring and work throughout the summer. We'll align start/end dates with your availability.

Most internships last 2–3 months during the summer. Depending on business needs and your availability, some internships may continue throughout the academic year.
Every day is different, but interns can expect to work alongside experienced professionals, attend team meetings, collaborate on projects, solve real-world challenges, and gain hands-on experience in their field. Depending on your department and assignments, you may also collaborate across multiple disciplines and business sectors. Throughout the internship, you'll have opportunities to participate in networking events, training sessions, technical learning opportunities, and other professional development activities.
Interns work on real projects that support business objectives and directly serve our clients and communities. Responsibilities vary by role but may include research, design support, data analysis, field work, project coordination, technical documentation, and other discipline-specific assignments.
